Hello Neighbor is a free-to-play stealth horror video game created by developer Dynamic Pixels, Inc. The game was initially released on July 12, 2017 for Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux, and was later released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It was also released for iOS and Android on November 27, 2017. There are many different ways to complete the game. If the player is caught, they will have to start over; and if they run out of options for distracting the neighbor, they will have to start over.

Gameplay

In Hello Neighbor, the player takes on the role of a child who is secretly trying to go into their neighbor’s house in order to find out what the neighbor is hiding. The player has to carefully look for clues as to what the neighbor is hiding, all while avoiding detection. The player must find a way into the neighbor's house, through doors, vents, and chimneys in order to find out what the neighbor is hiding.

The game is split into two parts: the “Neighbor’s House” and “The Surroundings”. In the “Neighbor’s House”, the player has to sneak past the neighbor while he is patrolling the house. If the player is caught, the neighbor will alert the police, and the player will have to start the level over. In the “The Surroundings”, the player has to sneak past the neighbor on his way to the house. The only way to catch the neighbor is to use the flashlights to distract him, and then run past him.

The gameplay consists of the player exploring the neighborhood and figuring out how to find clues about the masked man. When the player finds a clue, the player should move to a new area of the neighborhood until the player finds another clue. If the player finds a clue, the player should try to stop the masked man by locking the masked man's door.

Graphics

The graphics of the game were designed to be an 8-bit style game, with the player character being a child. The graphics of this game are in a cartoon style, and are very detailed in order to make the game more immersive. The animation is very smooth, and the graphics are very detailed.

Replayability

The game is relatively short and can be completed in under 2 hours. There are many different ways to complete the game. If the player is caught, they will have to start over; and if they run out of options for distracting the neighbor, they will have to start over.
