WhatsApp Developing Dedicated Audio Chat Feature

WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging platform owned by Meta, is reportedly working on a new dedicated Audio Chat feature. The latest WhatsApp Beta update for Android reveals the development of this new voice-related feature, which is said to improve the user experience of the platform. In addition, references to a feature called Audio Chats have been spotted in version 2.23.7.12 of WhatsApp for Android. 

The development of the Audio Chat feature is part of WhatsApp’s broader effort to enhance its audio-related features. It is expected to offer users a more convenient way to communicate with their contacts, as it will allow them to chat in real time without having to type out messages. WhatsApp is also reportedly working on improving sound quality, which will make it easier for users to have clear conversations over the platform.
